What barcode formats are supported?

What is the difference between Code 128 and Code 39?
Code 128 supports all 128 ASCII characters and produces more compact barcodes. Code 39 supports only uppercase letters, numbers, and some special characters. Code 128 is preferred for most applications.
What is EAN-13 used for?
EAN-13 is the standard barcode for retail products worldwide. It encodes exactly 13 digits (12 data + 1 check digit) and is used on product packaging for point-of-sale scanning.
Can I use these barcodes for retail products?
Yes, but you need a valid GS1 company prefix for EAN-13 and UPC-A barcodes. The barcode generator creates the correct visual barcode, but the data must be valid and registered with GS1 for retail use.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. All barcode generation happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your data is never sent to any server.
